Advertising in myspace???

I have seen some people charging to post a bulletin in their myspace which has XXX,XXX friends.
I think that most of the people have garbage friends(myspace whores)

So do you think it would be worth it? and under what circumstances.

 

yeah, i agree with you as myspace friends most fake

 

i can get 1,000 friends a day but none of them are gonna read my posts.

Bu then again im sure their are people with legitimate friends too, would you pay then?

 

Myspace isn't the best place to sell anything. It's a dirty place. I haven't had any luck with getting anyone to do anything but run by my space to look for some sick photos. Of which they don't see any.

I highly discourage advertisements on MySpace.

Try facebook its better - but target your niche carefully.

A mate of mine, created an ebook on defensive fencing techniques, he then
created a facebook account and targeted young fencers, he makes over
23 sales most days at $19.99, not bad for a college drop out...

 

Also how many people really read the bulletin message as most of such message looks like spam.

Depends on what you're selling. I'm doing one of those MySpace whoring 'sites. MySpace is definitely the place to advertise for that.

 

Myspace is basically ruined! I use to be the biggest bulletin seller here on DP. I made over 2,000 dollars in 2-3 weeks. Once in a while a bulletin would do ok. But personally I wouldn't waste my cash on it. Spend your cash on banners! Banners are the only real target traffic, along with adwords, ect.

 

MySpace is awful for getting traffic and trust me I have tried!

Facebook isn't bad but then again people are becoming aware and now thats getting spammed quite heavy. Best way to advertise is to rank well in Google in my opinion.
