Advertising Multiple Domains for the Same Keywords

I have been working on using Yahoo Search Marketing to advertise multiple domains that offer similar (nearly identical) products in order to capture a larger share of the real estate in the paid search listings. The problem is that Yahoo appears to have caught on to the tactic and is not allowing us to run all of the keywords we would like.

We have a few ideas as to how the domains were linked together in Yahoo's eyes so we are working to remedy the situation.

My question has to do with a domain that we have yet to launch. Again, we are planning on using Yahoo Search to market this domain and while we are offering a different service on this new domain, it is close enough to our existing offerings that we have concerns about Yahoo again cracking down on us.

The new domain is registered to a different company, shares zero content, and will have a unique IP address. The only way for an outside entity to link it to our existing domains would be the name servers since we are planning on hosting the new domain locally.

It makes sense that the name servers would not be a red flag from a automated spam detection perspective because thousands of domain would have the same name server addresses if they were hosted by a third party. The question is A) would Yahoo take enough of an interest to determine that the name servers are hosted by our company and B) would they then assume that any site of a similar nature, regardless of the WHOIS data, belongs to the same company and thus should not be allowed to compete against each other in Yahoo Search? Would it be better to host the new domain using a third party (so the name servers are different) and assume the inherent risks associated?

Any insight you guys can provide would be helpful.

I've found that YSM's apparent stupidity and lack of concern for details, while often frustrating, can sometimes work in my favor. It could be their carelessness will let you slide thru.

The search engines should have a sole role of medium instead of policing the web. There are several incidents where I felt they are trying to control the online medium (which will not be good for the medium). A free competition similar to real world (where Audi can compete with VW's other brands to dominate the market!!) would be helpful for online economy.
I see no reason why Yahoo (or Google) should take enough of an interest to determine that the name servers are hosted by which company (apart from few exceptions..)
I think SEs should encourage competition - It would help the medium grow. (Just a thought)
