Advice on ad placement/layout

I am looking to improve my ctr on my page http://famousqt.com. This site is in the entertainment/movie niche which I dont expect to make much, just enough to cover BW costs and promote my other sites.

This site gets 1200 uniques/day and 20k-40k pageviews a day. Yet my adsence gets only 10-30 clicks/day. I have been changing the layout/colors looking for sweet spots but cant find one.

Any ideas on where to place ads or any other color schemes I could try? I changed the colors so many times to keep ad blindness from hapening but its not helping. I also think its due to poor targeted ads, but I could be wrong.

you could try placing a vertical linkunit under your navigation.

maybe also try placing the 480*60 banner above the biographical type content (page) and not at the very top. then, above the ad, place an image of whichever persons biography page you're viewing above that.
put a distinct border between the image and the ad to show that the image is nothing to do with the ad.

I recently changed the link unit locations, it was doing Ok where the text links are now on every page but I wanted to get it close to the content and stop its location from being static, this has increased ctr by .01 in 4 days of testing.

After looking at the adsense tips page I think I will try to move all header ads out in favor of content.

I think I will swap the location of the top part of the biography, Height and such with the ad at the top of the page. Bringing the ad into the content and more content at the top.

The image pages I think I will try to bring down the ad as well from the top to above the image thumbs and put some content in the space above, like top images or something.

If anyone has any other ideas I am open to ideas.

Well the first thing i saw is it look likes an ads, not a normal link.

You should blend your adsense with the articles of the personal...

It will make your clicks get more than 30 click per day
