    Make the google advert the first thing people see on your site. Put a rectangle at the top of the page, not at the bottom. Blend in to your background and use these values for the adsense code:
    link color=#000080
    url color=#999999
    Text color=#000000

    These values have been proven to work best on most sites. Test them to see if they work for you, if not then change them again until your results improve.

    Move an ad block above the first bit of writing on the page.

    Maybe move the images because those look like they could cause some trouble between you and the Adsense group.
