Advice on placement, and optimization

    I've got a site i'd like some comments on.

    Currently there are two Google ads on the front page and each internal page shows at least 2 ads, most times 3. on story pages there is actually 4

    Before I rip the whole site apart to re-place the ads. I'd like some comments on where I should focus them.

    I tried to put a big banner in the center between the header and story blocks but it looked really out of place (it was a leaderboard ad).

    Thoughts?

    ok I suck at google ads which is why I am still broke BUT I looked here is where I think they would look ok :
