    Settle into which industry? Hospitality?
    What is your role?
Not much point coming to an internet marketing forum and asking for "advice" because we'll assume you are involved in the internet marketing of the restaurant - and surely if it's head office it's a chain of restaurants? and are they really restaurants or just fast food outlets?

@sarahk makes some good points, of course. That said, it appears that you are a young woman who is still in school but also has her first "real" job in the business world and you are looking for general guidance in this regard. The best advice that I can give you is to be on the lookout for a friendly, experienced businesswoman (not necessarily in your office) who you can go to for advice and assistance with your career. If you approach such a person in a friendly, noncommittal way and show your interest in her opinions, thoughts, etc., you may find yourself with one of the most valuable assets you can have as a young employee intent on having a successful career: a mentor.

But, be careful and do not ask this person to be a mentor as they may shy away from such a commitment due to other priorities. Let it develop naturally as you have questions and issues that she can help with. Good luck and best wishes on your new job!
