Agonising over hosting

    Ok,so am approaching the end of my free trial period with current host: hostingbay.net, but have been getting down time on my site, and when i email they say 'there is no problem' but the reality is that there is.

    So am tring to think quick about whether I change and who to.

    Current advantages: hosts in Australia, so can phone up, and not wait for america to wake up! Also means quick email response.
    Also has a really good statistics, pwered by: http://awstats.sourceforge.net/
    which I check constantly.

    At the moment have been comparing to dot easy...but am trying to get further info from both companies (don't know how much I will achieve).

    Can anyone recommend a kick-ass hosting company, and plan, for a small website. Tell me why you think it is the best option.

    I am running low on time (I have days before my credit account will be charged and want to make a seamless transfer, so need to upload to new host)...

    Check out asmallorange.com if you want a low cost host with excellent service. They have cpanel and awstats, unlimited add-on domains. Not affliliated with them. I don't know who you are trying to target, but if it is regional, you might stick with a host in your country because of geo-targeting.

    I think I may go with Daily Razor, first I will compare specs with all your suggestions...thanks it makes the process so much easier, and satisfies me that whoever I decide will be a quality host.
