    I don't know if this is the right forum but .. anyway.

    I signed up with hostgator yesterday after being with them for my other sites. Started working on my forum etc and then went too sleep, when I woke up my account was deleted.

    I asked support why and I was returned with the message "Not sure, I don't see any reason why it would have been deleted".

    Now I have too start all over again..

    Nope, it wasn't that because my site wasn't even found - the account had been deleted.

    I didn't backup files because I'd only just set up the forum, hadn't even gone public so I didn't expect it too go down or anything like it.

    This happened to me after uploading about 12 large sites to a Hostgator reseller package. It annoyed me that much I went elsewhere.
