    Hi guys,
I'm developing a website/online service, with a few social media features. Knowing that Facebook, Twitter, etc. have copyrighted or patented pretty much anything, I wondered if I was allowed to use "Follow" buttons for my service so that one user can follow another user's activities. Am I allowed to use that term, or may I get in trouble?

If you're going to create your own follow button, then you may not get in any trouble. But if you're going to copy their buttons to place it on your website, then it's not a good idea for a commercial site.

I think you are not in trouble, then just try it first.
