Alternative to Photoshop in logo making?

    Hello friends I need to design logos for a website. But i am not able to design them perfectly in photoshop, if i am trying in other softwares like logosmartz using templates they are not looking good and maya it is more complicated. Can u suggest me a easy and effective way to design logos.Help me friends

    Photoshop is, in my opinion, the easiest peice of graphic design software out there now. Rather than dismissing the software as a whole, you should post specific questions here for us to help you with and then you'll begin to like it more :).

    You could take a look at Grimp but i defenetly would try to stay on photoshop, once you use it right you really can make wonderfull stuff with it

    try inkscape as its easier to use than photoshop. you can just search tutorials of inkscape in youtube.

    As everyone said photoshop is really the best one and once you get used to it, it really becomes an easy thing to work with.

    Quite a few years ago i had a software called Paint shop pro. Im not sure if its still around but it was ok for banners aswell.

    I think Illustrator is by far the best logo software in my opinion. Photoshop is good but their vector tools handle a little different and just seem weird to me, lol.

    I agree that Illustrator is best. With it you can create vector art logos which can be enlarged or reduced with no loss of quality. Illustrator is the professional standard for logo design in the U.S.

    For making logo I am using coreldraw and adobe illustrator but most of the time I am using coreldraw this is a very good software to make dtp designs

    Illustrator and Photoshop are good.
    Try Inkscape which is a free software...
    if you are not exp designer, then try AAA Logo creator.
    It's templates are more professional..
