Selling ads yourself. Nix the middleman & you eliminate the profit potential he is taking from you.

Head down to link sales & sell footer links & links on a monthly basis. Start your auctions off at a moderate price and your BIN's just out of reach.

Another alternative to Google Adsense that can be really profitable is promoting affiliate products. Clickbank and Linkshare are good places to find profitable affiliate products to promote, and there are others. It may take a few tweaks and changes to your website/s but can be really worth it in the end...

I really don't know, I'm far to lazy myself to try it. However, it is one of the best alternatives as I understand it. ;)

However, depending on how much you are making on Adsense, selling a few links here on the DP is easier (and tax free, assuming you are not claiming such income). Doing both is also an option, and within the Adsense guidelines.

    Hi

I wanted to know if there is any adsense alternatives.

I can use YPN since im not in US and adbrite is not even worth using, clicksor i have heard have scamed ppl so staying away from them.

I want ads with text on them not the media sort of ads.

Thanks green rep will be added for suggestion ;)

Actually AdBrite would have been my suggestion. Other alternatives like BidVertiser and Clicksor have certain 'reliability' issues (like they're shit and rip off their publishers). You could try ExoClick (see Exoclick review) but they won't pay as well as AdSense, YPN or even AdBrite. Worth a punt if you have a high traffic site and like to be paid by PayPal.

    Ya.. Anyway..
AdBrite sucks (for me at least).. I have found that Kontera performs great (nearly as good as Adsense)..
Somewhere here at DP there is an entire thread of Adsense alternatives, but like the OP, i'm too lazy to search for it..

I might give this new one a try, because im jack of sending visitors away from my sites just to earn a whopping 2c from Adsense.
