LoL its well done but i have to agree with fryman and Iowadawg its not the hardest thing to do.

However Most of the time its not the complicated things people want so congrats

i totaly agree that the simple ones are alot of the time the ones that people want. im just also saying to be fair its not the hardest thing to do

 

ugh I really didnt want to have to be a dick tonight but im sorry I have to. Infidel all of your supposed graphical work are 20 minute throw togethers of downloaded brushes from Deviantart, horribly cut game renders and bad color balances. I know this because I used to make sigs to ( 4years) and I know how much time and effort goes into them..


edit: and you know whats sad, I can name all the effect that have gone into your sigs posted on http://www.thechaosnode.com/portfolio/Index.html

Just to name a few:
#2: Uses brushes downloaded from deviant art from a guy named Will Smith; i know this because hes the owner of a site i vist (great web designer btw)
#6 (the peaches) Uses a downloaded fractel brush again from DA
#7/#9 - Use Metal CX brushes
#8 - Uses a techinque called Pixel Stretching... 3 years old
#10 - Filter/ Gausien Blur / Edit Fade Gausien Blur (set to lighten)

It's a pretty simple logo. Not much skill to be able to put something out like that.

 

Wow, thats depressing. To tell you the truth, your right i have very little skill, but you know, i wasnt being an dick, or saying its a bad logo im just saying it isnt that hard to do, and that even with my skill (which you have proven is worthless) i could do it.

So what if you can name the effects, I could replicate nearly any design because I can figure out how they did it. Does that mean they suck?

I can also take it then that you have never: Used a font which you didn't create yourself, used a brush you haven't created yourself, used a render you haven't created yourself or used a technique you didn't create yourself. Because if you have done any of those things, then I guess your work is just "20 minute throw togethers"

I never claimed my work to be great; I only felt bad for the original poster because everyone was bashing work that I feel meets the requirements for what he needs.

1. Your Right Ive never created my own font
2. I dont Use Brushes (except default Photoshop brushes)
3. Your right when I made sigs I always used game renders

Again like I said i never clamied my work to be great; sigs are a great way to get into the design world (its how I got into it) but you have to understand when you criticize someones work harshly then you have to be able to take harsh criticizism.

Thats all im saying

Great work <echo, you got talent to become even better, i dont want to be to judgemental over 1 logo though so i'm not going to say your the best i seen.

the design is ok, things dont always have to be detailed or complex, but even tho this is simple.. i just dont think its "awesome" like other simple logos ive seen where it was really original and creative. This was just a custom tool, and added a font line and color, nothing wrong with it.. but nothing "crazy" to me.

 

The design isnt complicated but then again Logos shouldnt be.

Something that is worth noting though

If you take a note into the text of the logo ..... It done its job very well.

Logo's should portray the image of the company/product and as proven by Nonan, Its done its job.

Just my 2 cents.

Well, thank everyone for your good wishes.

I'm pretty new to this forum, and I still consider there's many designers better than me (if not most of them)... many of them in this DP.. there's a lot of talented people..

As for the logos I make.. sometimes simple is better, yet it totally depends on the client. I remeber once I made a very complex logo in a contest (I spent hours and hours and tried very hard) yet the contest holder chose the simplest design I've ever seen, two plain lines with some plain arial text ... o well ...
