    Despite her current level of exposure because of her relationship with Jennifer Aniston’s ex-husband Brad Pitt, there is an incredibly large secret that she has been keeping under wraps for quite some time.

    Marcheline Bertrand, Angelina’s mother, has cancer.

    She’s been quietly battling the disease for over 3 years now, but unfortunately things have taken their turn for the worst late last year - and she was forced into the hospital.

    A source tells us that Angelina quickly traveled to her mother’s bedside after she found out. “Marcheline isn’t just Angelina’s mother - she’s her best friend too.”

    The 55 year old actress who was married to John Voight is currently undergoing treatment as well as surgery.
