    How can I create an animated shining / sparkling dot using Photoshop?

    I want this shining / sparkling dot to trace a certain curved string. Lens Flare might work just fine, but I'm wondering if there is a different way to do the same. Also ... is creating a bunch of animation frames good enough? Is there a better way? Flash? Some other graphic / animation software?

    I'd greatly appreciate any input on this.

    You should really look into learning Flash if you want to create more than a simple animated .gif, which it sounds like your project might be more than a simple animation...

    For that simple work u need not battel with flash. U can do it in Image Ready just in a couple of minutes.
