    Hi All-

    I Recently aquired a network of proxy sites. I am brand new tot he whole proxy sites gig and trying to get a feel for how to monetize the sites etc. I have been an adsense publisher for over 3 years now and earn a decent amount on some of my other sites so I am not a total newbie etc.

    However proxy sites are new to me and I am not even sure what to do to advertise and monetize them.

    Can you check the adsense placement on the following sites and make any reccomendations.

    I am getting CTR that is in the middle single digit range across the whole network. Strangely enough two of the sites are getting like 1% ctr while others are getting 12% and above. Same ads , same layouts just diff. colors.

    I will be playing and tweak with but if anyone has a good idea of what needs to be done please let meknow. I am going to try the large rectangle 336 by 280 and see how it does.

    My site also has a very low CTR, around 1%, the only common thing between mine and your low CTR site is the red links.

    Here's a comprehensive study of the two colours

    Red = debt, bad, stop
    Green = cash positive, go, money

    The choice is obvious ;)

    I offer free phproxy templates (check my signature link) that can get around 3-5% CTR mark depending. I've only tested the third one however which gets me an average of 4% CTR a day, which isn't bad for a proxy site.

    Too much text, try making your 2nd 250 x 250 ad unit an image ad unit instead.

    I like the ideas stated. I will make changes to the red coloring as suggested and test it for a few days. I will also ad a image ad to the left as I agree iti s probably too much text. Again I will test for a few days and let you know.

    Thanks for the advice. Also Delusion the templates look great I might go that direction.
