I'm really searching for one. I really don't feel like installing A blog script or even typo and set up an own database for each site with 8-9 pages that is still in development.

    Desktop? well, something like this:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Desktop

Basically just like an offline content management system you can use on your Desktop to manage your website content.

We have a Desktop CMS called Zeta Producer which comes as a completely free version, too. It runs on virtually any Windows version.

    See www.zeta-producer.com for the application.
