Any idea why I am not getting any ads showing up

On the index page of this site I am not getting any ads to show up. I realize the forum is pretty barren but the internal pages are all showing ads and some of them have less content than the index page. I am already pushing it on keyword spam in the footer and header and still not getting any ads. Anyone got any guesses?

In case you can't see where the ads should be due to my ninja skills blending them in :) they should appear right above "American Inventor" section of the forum.

The page still isn't indexed by google either and it's been about 3 weeks but that's a different story.

    Thanks

I'm not seeing any issue with the content

The row height is 60, the ad height is 60, with your cell padding and spacing parameters taken into account, you may not have enough height to allow the js to display. Try tweaking the row settings.

Also note the other ads have a full row (no columns) to interfere with the display, so it's possible the default setting for the column with the 234x60 ad (column default width of 157) might be causing problems too.

Good call jumping on a new show before it gets popular. I'm still kicking myself over not jumping on the American Idol bandwagon. Arrrgh.

Oh, and about the ads, I'm guessing it's a Google spidering issue because ads for TV shows are plenty. Give it time, I guess, is the only thing, as you've already optimized it as you said.

Good ideas corinaw but it didn't work. I even tried placing some ads in the footer completely out of the tables (right above the </body> tag) and they still didn't show up.

I am really hoping it starts to show ads before the show airs tomorrow, traffic really pics up on Thursday nights and Fridays.

    Hi Moe,
I just took a new copy of your source code, copied it into fp, went to my adsense setup and grabbed a fresh copy of the 234x 60, and replaced the adsense code in your page with a fresh copy. I'm now seeing ads!

So I hope this is a simple one- I did a comparision with your existing code and the one google gave me- Nothing specific jumps out, but the fresh copy I just used does work fine, w/ no formatting problems.

Let me know how it goes!

    Hi Moe-
I'm going to pm you the modified code that is currently showing ads for me-
It does not have your custom formatting, channels, but you can use it to troubleshoot the problem.

this happened to me (exact same problem). I emailed google and they said it was ok and they saw ads. Just wait it out and they will be back. Mine came back. I did notice that direct requests to the site did not show ads but click-throughs from other links did show ads (find your site's index page in google and click-thru from there and see if you get ads).
