    Just wondering if anyone has some kind suggestions to increase CTR on www.creatinejournal.com ~ current CTR is 4-7%

    It looks pretty good to me. Have you experimented with a horizontal link unit up the top?

    I think that's a good ctr. My suggestion is to change the title color of the top 468 ad into something for example orange so it will attract eyes, everybody will have to look at it

    The thing that struck me is that even though you have the ads in the hotspots (and very nicely blended), when first coming to the page it's immediately obvious that I (as a surfer) have a lot of options to click on (left, top, and right). It's actually a bit overwhelming at first when you don't know what you're looking for. The density and sheer number of links on the right hand side however drew my eyes naturally to that area to look for where I should click next - and that's in the opposite direction to your ads. Perhaps give your visitors fewer options on the right hand side (at least without scrolling).
