Any suggestions for different ad placement?

Well your ads are high up and visible, so thats good. Text colour is a bit faded on my laptop, but it may differ for others. Try blue link with black text + grey URL. Its nice on the eye ;)

Titles: Same color as other links.
Description: Same colors as your text.
URLs: Same color as other links, or a bit darker.

That always works best for me :)

Generate a heatmap for your web site (Check the one from Feng-GUI), create channels in AdSense and then marry the information from the two sources. This can give you a better picture. I had the same problem till I solved it with this technique.
