    i dont actually see any adsense on the front page, you should maybe add some vertical links above your recent posts and maybe an image banner in between posts

    1.
    did u make ALL pics yourself ? or using pics found on the web ?

    2.
    placement = VERY substantial mistakes

    3.
    same for ad formats

    see

    or any other forum search - we had VERY extensive threads on that topic - ALL of them still fully valid.

    BTW
    you have low CTR also because you have near-ZERO real traffic except your own access.
    if you want traffic then you have to KNOWn modern times problems. these past weeks it is NOT ab out cars but about alternatives and environment protection. hence there certainly is a strongly reduced interest in cars.

    that's possible John
    but if - then there might be more successful ways of publishing own photos and convert them into adsense revenue, options like

    - large wallpaper series on that special topics, page by precise topic ( for example one page by CAR for car lovers )
    - ecards
    - travel documentations incl photos and travel information
    - technical documentation incl photos
    - tech howtos incl photos

    a professionally made set of a few thousands pics in high resolution formats and in professional quality offered as above also should result in a few thousand $/m.

    such methods however would BEST be published OUTSIDE the blog and the photo blog used to promote new pages/new sections only. may be someow comparable to how I do it ( most successfully since years ) ...

    I agree. He should look up to your wallpaper section and make a new directory for every category/section for best SEO. And also apply same/similar adsense placement/optimization.

    Then further, I would install a framebraker, so if a visitor is using google image search or a similar service the frames would drop and he will only see your website (like intended) and not the google frames. I would also suggest SEO'ing each and every photo like this:

    <img src="http://www.yoursite.com/picturename.jpg" width="xxx" height="xxx" title="picture name" />

    Then if you haven't already, go to Google Webmaster Tools and enable image search. This option is located in:

    Dashboard > Tools > Enable enhanced image search > Check the box and click OK.

    Oh sandrodz, in case you're wondering what a frame is and why you should remove it, see the following picture:

    http://img65.imageshack.us/img65/5530/temp3sn9.jpg

    You see if you have frames enabled, a visitor who found your pictures through google image search or similar will normally click on the picture already in the google frame and won't even bother looking at your website. If you break that frame, a visitor will need to look through your website (and ads ;) ) to find the picture. This will increase your CTR a lot, if you optimized your placement before of course.

    in your SEOing you forgot the alt tag
    in addition - looking into G future
    it definitely is a good idea to exiftool all pics to include proper exif tags for description as well in addition to copyright and other useful tags that might add to origin and pic type identification by future high end SEs

    re your "framebraker" - never heard of
    i have a substantial part of my traffic/revenue from pics and have so far never seen any potential loss due to G pics display. my entire photo sections ( gallery, travel, ecards and wallpapers ) make up some 75% of very substantial xxxx/m adsense.

    since I am successfully using CORRECT/SEOd frames system across my site - a "framebraker" may conflict with my own site navigation.

    I've found that using at least one of the tags is enough. That's from my experiences for my websites. Either the "alt" or "title". In some previous browsers one or the other was favored or even not supported, but nowadays no one uses Netscape 3. But for the best compatibility with such old browsers its best to use both yes.

    Hans, I don't know what kind of software you use and can't say for sure but I think a frame breaker script should not interfere with your website, because the scripts are usually designed to brake only "outside" frames. So other websites who try to frame your website. Maybe you can test it out yourself and see if it increases any revenue and is compatible with your website. There are many free ones out there, its best to do a google search for "frame breaker". You can't know for sure if you don't test before, but usually this move should increase CTR.
