Any suggestions on improving my placement?

I was hoping someone could give me some advice on improving the CTR of my tutorial pages. It is very low at the moment.

I'd change the link colour to black to make it match the rest of the page. You might want to try testing different formats, also. The half banner doesn't generate a high CTR from my experience. Maybe a leaderboard or square ad instead?

 

The ads are really annoying in between the tutorials.. because people are trying to read them. I would use 1 image 250 x 250 block and 1 text 250 x 250 block beside each other on the bottom of the tutorial (so people can view them after they finish the tutorial)

Maybe you could put the small ad unit directly under the title "Color Tinted Glasses".
