Anybody following the Operation Slapshot story?

Wayne's days are numbered! I think he's not coming clean. He's more envolved than we know and certainly his wife is envolved. I just can't figure out why . This would be devestating for the Gretsky family...all endorsements GONE if found guilty. After Wayne returns from the olympics I think the Sh^* is going to hit the fan!

Tocchet was busted in 1991 for this so he's certainly into it and has known ties to organized crime.

The big question is has the integrity hockey been tampered with

 

When I talk to people, I can't believe how many people have already dismissed the case as no big deal. A "victimless" crime they say.
This is the same attitude that says Bertuzi did nothing wrong.
I am not pre-judging, because we don't know yet. But I agree it doesn't look good. At the very least, he must have known what Janet was up to ("Honey what happened to that $75 grand I had in my wallet?")...did he know what his friend and assistant coach was up to? And did Tocchet know about the organized crime connection? At the very least it shows poor judgement by somebody.

 

Yep and I hope my suspicions are wrong about this. I can't see how/why would be connected to this the man is loaded and the ambassador of hockey .
