I'm curious about the self sufficient life style and am seriously thinking about learning how to rely less on money and more on Nature, i.e. foraging, gardening, solar electricity, etc to provide more of my needs. I like the idea of working a little just to maybe buy the things I want but not the old idea of using any services that create recurring bills that would tie me to a life of living pay check to pay check to pay bill after bill.

Anyone else exploring or considering streaming down their life in such a way to make it more managable and less stressful?

Try to stick with what you need and not with what you want... :)

Mike, I am not sure if you made this post to see if people would respond or not.

For what it is worth - It sounds like you are unhappy with your way of creating money or maybe you just need to find your purpose in life. You can streamline your life and still be comfortable doing what you want to do.

Life is all choices.. no accidents.

I think what Mike is referring to makes complete sense. I've thought about it myself before too haha It sucks always living paycheck to paycheck and working 40-50 hours a week. Life shouldn't be about that. Work to pay for your car. Work to pay for your home. So you spend most of your time at work constantly paying for stuff. It will never end. I've thought about moving into the woods and going all natural too haha Wouldn't have to work.
