Anyone in your ignore list?

No, actually I'm a very nice guy. It is only my writing style that can sometime get abrasive. If you get to Toronto, or close to me at all, give me a shout, I'd be happy to buy you a drink.

I used to drive by Waterloo-Kitchener about twice a week (once each way) -- always thought one of these days I'd stop in for Oktoberfest.

I have no-one on my ignore list but that's not to say I don't ignore people. I feel that it is everyones responsibility to monitor the bad posts so that you can air your view to protect other members from the bad posts. Generally, most people who give their opinion on a thread are repeating what they know to the best of their abilities therefor if everyone gives their opinion on the things they know then this will lead to a greater quality of posting. This is unless we are all stupid people

 

I think bad posts should be shot on sight or stabbed...

Well I lost over 20 rep points as a result of my arguments with Anthony the other day. So I'm taking those votes to heart and I'll try never to get sucked into a debate with him again. To help me in this I've put him on my ignore list. I know that once in awhile he posts something really useful, but I'm prepared to miss those ocassions in my effort not to offend other members.

In fact it is really nice now to come upon one of his posts in a thread and have it blanked out so that you don't have to read it. It does wonders for my gastric juice production.

My problem is that I was a supporter of Anthony when he first joined this thread. I'm an avid protector of freedom of speech. But Anthony has become so selfserving and so over the top that I can no longer support or tolerate him. If he had any respect or concern for anyone else besides himself he would back off. But he is out of control and I'm embarrassed by him and for him.

 

Sometimes its worth a 20 point hit to get your point across though. I suspect you will easily make that up as it would be a shame if thats the direction things are going.

I can't put Anthony on my ignore only because threads stop making sense half the time. Of course now I 'm wondering how that is different than usual. Anyway, don't censor yourself because of Rep. I think its refreshing to have a different viewpoint.

 

Well there is a difference between 'debating' and name calling.

I think that's the whole reason ignore lists exist...to help you avoid getting dragged into the mucky muck by folks who tickle your funny bone the wrong way.

Yes that's a danger I hadn't thought of. I guess I'll just have to add anyone who quotes him to my ignore list

Seriously, the best way to shut a guy like that down is to ignore him and that is exactly what I plan to do.

Compar, you really do need to meet with Minstrel because by your posts you can sure use some help with your thought process, because to be honest, you are completely out of touch with reality, there is not a doubt in my mind about that.

Compar that was not a debate, it was you coming out of no where to completely disturb a thread with silly and petty insults to gain attention for yourself and you are still doing it.

Again Bob, seek some professional help, because you really do need it I am sorry to say.

PS: Bob I am not embarrassed in any way other than to say I was dumb enough to think you were actually a decent human being, you proved that was very foolish Compar, because you are one of the biggest fakes I have ever met in my life. I am ashamed to have ever known the likes of you old man.

 

Anthony, were there any past arguments you guys have had which could have been causing this

 

Compar is repeating the same old crap over and over, he is full of it big time and is simply seeking attention, if folks can't see that they really don't know him like I do.

I think he has gone mad.

DreamShop I have never let a liar and a propagandist have the last word, that is what Compar is, a fraud at that, he speaks of me being self serving, he had no business entering that thread to simply insult me for no reason, I can't help it the guy can't buy a girlfriend with his $ 4,600.00 a month from his online pill store.
