    i am looking to set up some niche directory sites, i have had a play around with web directory professional, which is good but i dont think the seo is great on the script and im not the world best coder. does anyone know of any good ones free or paid?

    any others? i want to set up quite a few niche directories and at $75 a pop its going to work out quite expensive

    You can get an unlimited license for the Esyndicat directory script. Probably best way to go if you are planning on doing a few directories.

    I use LinkMachine (www.linkmachine.net). It has alot of nice features, and for every link page you create you can customize the exact url of it.

    phpld and site sift scripts are good ones . phpld is paid one < free ver is also available > whereas site-sift is a free one .

    the unlimited license in eSyndicat is the cheapest in it kind
    and I am sure no one will stop after just one directory.
    you can buy a single license and then upgrade later that's the best part in it :)
