I am looking for an e-commerce solution, I have been putting a close eye for a long time on magento, anyway if anyone knows which ecommerce are powerful and have these features please let me know

I'm looking for a free one.

these are best to come inside the platform, instead of as an addon/plugin/extension

I'm trying to minimize the use of modules/extensions.
And, i don't care that magento is heavy, we use a icdsoft, they have optimized their servers for max performance, not to mention it's like a small vps for a mere price of $3/month.

-Templating back end to change look (magento has it, free)
-Related Items to the product i'm viewing (item relation) (magento has it, free)
-People who bought this item also bought y z - total for 3 items.. (magento has it, $80 module)
-best selling items of x category (most probably has it?)
-you recently looked at X, you might also be intrested in z and y (don't know of any that has it, but magento can have it, they have item relation + recent products viewed so that can be built)
-What Other Customers Are Looking At Right Now (don't know of any that has it)
-new items(arrivals) added (maybe most ecommerce has it)

that's about it. post your comments/suggestions.
these are very powerful features. if anyone knows what ecommerce script has them or one of them let me know.

    look at prestashop
has a lot of what you need - and very light compared to magento
also very easy to setup and use..

well i have decided to go with magento + some paid modules instead of free ones.
when it comes to free modules there are several problems, if the core itself is good (we are running magento on a fast server) then you will need good modules instead of crappy ones.

free modules you don't know who actually made them, some don't have support so when new version comes out they break. most of them are based on multiple fixes the users 'contributed' but the quality itself is unkown.

list of modules of presta shop:
    http://www.prestamodules.com/prestashop/8-all-the-modules

i wasn't able to find the exact modules i saw for magento.

also, most modules are based on some other scripts that are based on other free stuff, so again, in terms of quality you can be sure it's not top noch.
    for example http://www.prestashop.com/forums/viewthread/16134/

also, there are some several paid modules for magento each costs $89, so while the core is free, good modules cost money, and if you were to hire perhaps a free lancer to do that then still each module will cost quite a bit (and support of the module?)

if you buy a paid shopping cart for example cs cart, almost $300 they don't have most good modules although the cost of the cart is high enough to justify that.

A hosted solution like volusion could handle that..or do it yourself with drupal+ubercart.

I just wanted to say that CubeCart has a lot of these feature and mods but definitely not the last few on your list.
