    it's actually a very nice city... probably has the highest cafe/restaurant count per capita of any other city I know. It's crazy.

    I think people coming here to enjoy food, nightlife.. Saying this is best place for fun. As some guys from new york design studio who came here fiew times said "place where joy is 98% of whole time"

    been in the region eons ago - beautiful country! :D

    Noticed in 'itsme' profile that they are originally from Canada and I know a few ppl from here that have gone to live there.

    Yah, I'm originally from Canada. I came to Serbia to visit family (after a 13 year absence) and just decided to spend more time here.

    To be honest, I was getting fed up with Canada, it's a good place in general but just not what I was looking for out of life.

    After spending 4 months in Bgd I couldn't imagine returning to Canada (or anywhere else), I fell in love with the city. It's the only place I know (besides NYC) that's always got some action going on.

    Every day, 24/7 there is something to do, somewhere to go and people to be seen on the streets! Downtown is old European architecture, beautiful, and packed with cafes, restaurants, parks and people. And it's safe.

    I have to say that the reason for staying here (at first) was the slower pace of life, AMAZING WOMEN, great food, good climate, AMAZING WOMEN!!! Now I'm married and I can't leave even if I wanted to. ;)

    TOPS30, I had an apt. in Borca but I sold it and bought one in Jajinci... too many mosquitos in Borca (I hate mosquitos, they love me). :)

    I think that there are more people on these boards that comes from Baghdad(Yo-Yo, tesla, hrblcantra to mension a few)..
