Anyone owning a Tesla? What's your experience like?

Been thinking about owning a Tesla some day. Watched a bunch of videos about the cars. Some love their Teslas, some... not so much. Here in central FL the EV charging infrastructure isn't that great yet. That could be something of a concern for me, but the "temptation" to own one (possibly Model 3) some day is still there.

 

I don't own one but I did see a recent vid that if it snows or rains it goes into the trunk sliding down the window when you have it open (like putting groceries in) But I will buy one this next year, we are purchasing another home so need to do that first. But all my friends have them I am in the bay area near the tesla factory.

 

I have a colleague who owns one and loves it. The last I heard, however, is that the driving range on a charge is not that great and you have to plan where your next charge will be on a long trip.
