No, because they are already used to the ads that we are posting in the bulletin board. It is just a waste of time.

Hey popnyc, this is a tough question... it can really go either way, and depends on the myspace user. HOWEVER, from my experience with myspace... I have found bulk messages to be better in getting responses back. Again, I think bulletins are for quick glances, seeing who's dating who, what your local punk bands are doing on their roadtrips, etc.

You have to assess what you are putting within your message content: is it just a quick 'Check my site out *link*' or is it more of a 'sales pitch'? For lengthier messages, use bulk messaging. For short, one sentence stuff, use bulletins. Hope that helps!

I just have this feeling myspace bulletins will work for video games, due to the age demographic.

I'm going to build an account and target by this interest, and send bulletins with ads and with content. I think it should work !?

Ive used bulletins abit some some success, depends on your niche. Best tip is to add friends with your niche listed as thier interests.

From what I have read up on it its targeted towards quite a young audience 16-25 and if your products dont appeal to this category its a waste of time as the effort doesn't pay off.

Well If You Have Over 105,000 Myspace Friends Like Me I Get About 15,000 Hits From It But With The External Links Blocked These Days Its Not As Great As It Use To Be For A Method For Promotion
