AOL Mail and Explorer?

    I dunno maybe im just slow, but today i sign on my aol instant messanger, and obviously i dont have AOL, which sucks.
    And there pops up that I have an aol.com email account, and it signs me in, and it's quite an advanced little mail manager, and also an ad called "AOL Explorer".

    So is AOL trying to bring in more competition? Is this a new browser, that we will have to be compatible tooo?
