Are the signatures still spidered?

I was wondering if the signatures in the forum are still spidered? Does anyone know?

    TIA

Are you asking because there aren't any live links in the archives?

Signitures are always a good way to get your website indexed :)

They are spidered, although not in this forum (the Underground section requires a user to be logged in in order to see any threads), so spiders won't see them.

    Cool, that's good news. :)

Sometimes it is easier to drop a link or two into your signature here than it is to add links to existing sites for the sake of encouraging spidering.

I'm trying to think of a more tactful way you might have mentioned that, Sarah, but I confess I'm coming up blank...

I think your sig holds more weight than simply to increase the amount of indexed pages your site has, I use it for merely a word of mouth/branding tool.
