    http://del.icio.us

    Yahoo owns it.

You must consider how to get hundreds or even thousands votes to get top rankings of Digg or del.icio.us for insane traffic.

Highly unlikely your post will be greenlit by Fark. Try netscape.com which is just like digg

StumbleUpon is great but a bit like the lottery. One day thousands of people will come visiting, then it will trickle off and then repeat again some other random amount of time later. I do have a post that got hot a couple weeks ago that is still getting 100 or so Stumble visitors a day.

My site APopulartyContest runs similar to digg. Members are ranked by participation, and polls are ranked by popularity for day, week, month, and overall..

Two things some of you may want to know about this site.

First, if a digitalpoint member joins the site (it's free) all they have to do is send me a pm with their username, and I will upgrade them for free. Upgraded members get to create more polls, and every poll includes a link to their site. Most of my google traffic takes them directly to polls.

Second, I am currently running a contest on the site for a free ipod shuffle. The first poll to hit 250 votes wins a free ipod shuffle. There are a few more details than that, but getting the votes is the hardest part. If you have a popular site this could be a slam dunk for you.

It's important who stumbles your site on stumble upon. If you enter stumble exchanges, you're only going to get stumbled by people who generally are stumbling useless sites. If you get stumbled by a real, popular, stumble upon user you can easily get 2,000 uniques in a day.
