Are you a good person?

I truly do. Now what was the point of your question?

I think a being a 'good person' is very subjective. We all live by different moral standards, beliefs and values. If we can rest easy at night with a clear conscience, we must be on the right track.

 

Being a good person for me is when you lived up to what Eistein said about having a life of worth, is a life lived for others.

 

Sometimes I do nasty things but per overall I see myself as a good person

 

It is perhaps not wise to make any comment about me..however it is true that there are so many errors in my life which need rectification also.

 

I believe that it is not a matter of good and bad these days. I think that there is good and bad in everyone of us. It is the way that you treat the people around you and how much respect you show for yourself and others. Even the baddest person has a soft spot. Bad reflects insecurity, anger, and deep emotional problems within. Even the worst person would save a drowning child if needed. Good and bad are choices that we make. These things are learned traits, not born traits. I have known some people who think that they are bad, but they really weren't as bad as they thought. Really bad people are in prison, or will be. There are some people in prison that are not bad as well. I guess that without evil, there would be no good. There has to be an opposite for everything to be necessary. Unless you live to destroy other peoples lives and cause chaos in the world, you are good. Some people are taught to be bad but can grow beyond it with more positive interaction. There are bad people out there but from what I have read here, even the people who say that they are bad took the time to write it down here. They are not bad, otherwise they would be out selling drugs to children, or robbing the local convenience store. I do not think that they would be sitting at a computer commenting on this question. Some people like to make you think that they are bad, but they aren't. One of my favorite quotes

I also believe that you should live your life according to what you want people to say at your funeral. Try to look at your life through another persons eyes, kinda like a looking glass. There are to many great thing in this world to do and to love, for anyone to consider themselves a bad person.We all have our faults, and we all make mistakes. We all say stupid stuff at on point or another, but we are forgiving creatures. All of you people that say you are bad, can you tell me that you don't hug your mama, spouse, children. Does nobody ever tell you that they love you? Have you never taught a child something that they needed to learn, and it made you feel good. Do you ever have an ounce of joy in your life. Being hard and angry at the world does not make you a bad person. You just might be experiencing a depressive state, or even have low self esteem. Just get up and do something good today, pay it forward, no matter how bad you think you are, someone out there loves you. We are all individuals with different characteristics, and different outlooks on life. SMILE

 

I'm respect with pluralism and humanism. So, I think all people basicly is good people. But, every one have a demon in his self.
