Are you Earning from Google Adsense Link Units?

Is it worth it to use some space on your blog for a Google Adsense Link Unit, or just simply use the Ad Unit version in all your adsense? Link Units are simply a list of topics, and not yet the advertisement themselves. So, isn't it more unlikely that the ads are gonna be click? I think clicks are more possible with the Ad Units. What's your take on this?

The fact that DP uses them makes me think they must work, I had them for like 2 months though and only had like 1 click. My layout was not quite as clean as DP though, my members had huge messy forum signatures with pics in them.

My take is anything helps. I gather around 20% profit from adsense earnings with link units.

Sure it's less profit for square inch of the site, but it's still something. Now if you made like $2 a day then maybe you should think about if the 20cents is worth it, but at $50+ you shouldn't worry about the fact that they pay less.:)
