    There should be something where as a community, people put money together, to buy one copy of these sorts of things, and lets the whole community (paying and not paying) read it.

    You bring up a good method however, I was in buyers group one that purchased wholesale memery sticks. Each member put in $1000-$10,000 bucks, the group had 100-200 members. They put this money in with other buyer groups buying the same products. The wholesale lot was paid for at a $1,000,000 price. BIG DISCOUNT. Takes longer but works.
