Wow, that looks great! What meat/ingredients are used in this delicacy? Also, where might we find some?

Nutella Naan, It's a wheat flour bread baked in a clay oven and is filled with dripping hot nutella. Very tasty :p

That looks great! I have been searching for paratha bread around here (U.S.) for a long time and have mostly been disappointed. We can get Naan, however. Will have to try it with Nutella, though I tend to like Hershey's Chocolate spread better.

The real secret is to have the chocolate filled in the raw wheat and then have it baked for the hot dripping choco-lava affect :p

Wow, I had not considered putting the chocolate in before the dough is baked! Sounds really good, though I am now envisioning myself with a burnt mouth from not being able to wait for it to cool down! :)

My preference for a 4th of July menu is hamburgers, hotdogs, sausage grinders, etc. It looks like this year, we may also have grilled/roasted corn on the cob:

Caramelized sweet corn that has been salted and is dripping in butter...looking forward to it! :)

So, we were in a grocery store that we do not regularly shop at and that often has products/brands we don't usually see. Saw the package below and said to myself, "What a great idea! A milk chocolate stuffed marshmallow! Two of my favorite candies in the same bite!"

    stuffedpuffs.jpg
The result: it was a horrible confection. The marshmallow, itself, had a weird taste and the chocolate was some combination flavor/ingredient that also was bad. Yuck.

Everything past post #789 has disappeared. Of course there now appears #790 & 791, #792. Were there not posts made past June 26?

Not sure if there were. I checked my pictures file and the roasted corn in #788 is the last one I have, so if I did post after that, it was the result of someone else posting something.

I haven't had any and am not aware of a Turkish restaurant near me. Of course, I am sure that there are many of them in NYC, but that is about a 3 hour drive for me. While we wait for any other advice on your question, please post a picture of your favorite Turkish dish for us to enjoy.

I was a bit skeptical, but uniqueness and seasonality won out. Have not had any of the ubiquitous pumpkin flavored foodstuffs and drinks that spring up in the Fall in New England, but this one caught my eye: Pumpkin Spice Flavored Yogurt Covered Pretzels:

    pumpkinpretzels.jpg

Well, they are, in fact, quite good. Worth a try if you see any. Sweet, salty and with a pumpkin twist.

I love Chinese food! Of course, what we have here in the U.S. is probably more appropriately called "Chinese American" food, but I love it, nonetheless. The pork dish looks great and the goose looks fantastic! I have not had a Chinese goose dish, but will add it to my bucket list.

Why is it that you never see any stray cats around Chinese restaurants? (chicken dish anyone?) Why is it that every time you hear a mouse trap go off in a Chinese restaurant, they have a battered shrimp special the very next day?
*I'm joking of course, I actually love Chinese food

Hmmm, cats are like all other mobile creatures, they go where "invited" and stay where well treated. Obviously, Chinese restaurants are not very welcome to cats - no mice, no rats to eat, so no reason to hang around.
