Article Contest at the Admin Zone

    We are currently running an Article Contest at the Admin Zone.

    Prizes will include an owned vBulletin license, a lifetime Invision Power Board License, a PhotoPost license, vBAdvanced Gallery and vBAdvanced Links licenses, a Subdreamer Pro 2.0 license, an eXtremePixels all access pass for either IPB, vB or phpBB, and several year-long hosting packages (from NBSDesign, SB-Host, and PerfectSQL). Winners will be able to pick the prize of their choice from among those available in the order they place in the contest.

    • Articles can include interviews, how-to's, or any information of value to online Community Administrators. When you come up with an idea for a topic, you are encouraged to send me a PM about it and I'll let you know if I think it's a good one.
    • Each article must be original work which has not been published elsewhere.
    • The minimum length is 500 words.
    • You may enter as many articles as you like.
    • Submissions will be accepted until the end of June.
    • In the event there are less than 25 articles in the running by the end of June the contest may be extended until we get to 25.
    • Prizes will be awarded to at least the top 10 article writers, and possibly more!

    Sorry, but why is this? If it's a contest why does it have to go through you to see if it's a good topic? Good way of gathering articles though :p

    Oh, it's certainly not required. When we had our previous contest there were some people who were uncertain about their chosen topics so I added that bit to let everyone know that they could run a topic by me if they want to, that's all. Some do, some don't. It's all good... :D
