    If so, do we just credit the article site/article?

    What about using youtube videos on our blogs/sites
    from other users?

    You really got to be careful with that but i mean as long as you credit them and not taking all the credit for it then it should be alright.

    A link back to the original content would be more than enough for an article. If it's youtube videos, I don't really think it matter as it goes to youtube.com whenever you click on the video.
