I don't want to spoil the occasion but the culture about Santa in my POV should me limited so that kids would not just be nice because of gifts. It's a big BRIBE every Christmas eve.

This is officially the Anti-santa thread. I heard santa gives charcoal as presents for not so nice kids. :p

Except for the belief in santa.

I've read about a scary friend of santa clause last week: the krampus
    Mainly known in austria.
"When the Krampus finds a particularly naughty child, it stuffs the child in its sack and carries the frightened child away to its lair, presumably to devour for its Christmas dinner"
Scary thing. But I don't believe in Santa or Krampus either ;)

This last 3 days were INSANE! Please believe me when I tell you!

I was given an Interview to I thought a 450 dollar job. I waited ANXIOUSLY all Christmas to hear about it. In the 'tween time, I had a $30 dollar hair appointment. Got the haircut and TRIED to pay, actually was FUMBLING with my money to pay him. He said dont pay, and don't worry about it. That was my first true shock, as well as being candidate for a 450 dollar job.

Struggles, but still able to have fun at the hotel , thankfully they had guest computers for me to examine oDesk for replies. No replies till 6:45 PM our time today. Finds an email that said I was chosen, yes CHOSEN FOR A ONE-THOUSAND dollar job, NOT $450 like I previously thought. I screamed and cried like a small overjoyed child, I could NOT believe what happened.

I would have been alright with a $450 dollar job, but the 1 K dollar one! I WAS STUNNED! S-T-U-N-N-E-D! I have not a helluva lot of experience in oDesk. Was really chosen to do a One Thousand Dollar job! omg...

NOW DO YOU SEE WHY I AM INSANE!? Answer this!

Yes, I totally agree with you. I think Jesus Christ is bullshit too. You know why? I hear so many people say something like this below:
We all know Jesus wasn't really born on Dec. 25. There's not even a little evidence to prove that Jesus Christ existed or was even born.

@ loremar, calm down sir! And he has been proven to exist lol. You are correct on one thing tho, Dec. 25th is not the day Jesus Christ was born. ;)

Really?!? And the proof would be??? .... the bible? And you trust that everything the bible tells you is true? Adam, Eve, Moses, Noah? They're all real?!?

And that it's only coincidence that the name Jesus means "salvation"? What a grandiose name for someone to be born as a humble carpenter.

And what about the birth of Jesus? When was he really born? Before 4 BC or after 6 AD????
Check this link and read ->http://www.godlesshaven.com/articles/silent-night.html
Bible can't surely account for the truth about Jesus' birth or supposed biography. It's just historically unreliable. If you start looking for clues outside the bible, there's none other than lies and forgeries.

All I know is that some guy named Paul came up with this bullshit. The Holy Roman Empire with all its indisputable power use it and then there goes almost 2000 years of lies and lies and lies.....

Let's say USA conquered the entire planet. By means of holy US inquisition, they force people to believe in Santa, rewrite history books even with complete control of internet and kill anyone who writes or speaks about against the existence of Santa. What do you think will happen after 2000 years? Ha, think about it....

Santa Claus having magical powers to stop time and fly from house to house with all his magical reindeer's and spread good to all kids. Jesus Christ having magical powers to heal the sick, raise the dead, and turn water into wine. Can you spot the difference? Even if people say they're based on real persons like St. Nicolas and a random street preacher who call himself Jesus(savior), that still doesn't make them real. If some fictional movie character was based on a real person's life, does that make him real? Surely not.

Yah No one really know the exact date of Christ's birth. But we can still celebrate His birthday. What matters most is He is born to save us from sin.

pfftt... That's pathetic. How did you know he was born and that he was real? Did they teach you that in history class?
