    How do I change the background in Photoshop 7? I am new in Photoshop, after I change the background color layer, it wouldn’t change the background color ... please help me ...

    You should use selection tool to cover your object before you change your background color..

    There are some ways, for example, you do selection to what part of image you want to change the color. To do selection you can use Lasso or Magic Wand that you can pick on Tools Box, usually located on the left window of Photoshop, if you can't see the Tools Box then you can click on Window - Tools. After you have the selection, just use Paint Bucket Tool to change the color. To set color just click on the Foreground icon on the bottom of Tools Box.
