AsRep says 42 clicks, Google says 9 clicks?

Ok, I'm using Asrep to track my clicks,

To make it short and sweet, AsRep is saying I'm getting a decent amount of clicks "42 as of right now" but Google reports only 9 clicks?

I know it takes Google a while to calculate the clicks but Asrep is constantly telling me I'm getting more "Verified" clicks then Google gives me.

Also Asrep is reporting almost as many Unverified clicks as verified clicks but Google is only showing me a small fraction? What gives? Are my clicks some how being leaked out somewhere?

Can anyone shed some light here for me? Thank you!

 

Well, like you said, it does take Google a while to total the number of clicks up. Sometimes it took them a whole day for them to calculate mine, so I don't think there's anything to worry about.

If it's happening over a longer period of time, like a few days, then there's probably something wrong with AsRep. Google is never wrong.

 

what if the rest of the clicks are not calculated by adsense?

 

My Google search also says -90 Queries- -1 Clicks-

Do other people have a low click rate with their search? or is my search broken? Or are people just not clicking after they search? I have the results setup to display on my site "In site search"

 

Google will not report impressions that were not completed such as half page loads and such. People who click the X before the page loads are not counted.

Asrep could be counting these as full impressions.

Google Adsense for Search does not perform very well for many people.

 

It only counts as a click if the person clicks the ads in Google search, not just any links.
