How much is the per hour work these days? Can somebody tell me? The per hour work and the corresponding work is a big help for me. Please? Anybody? :)

What specifically are you talking about?
Which work, which country, and for how long?
For my line of work (IT consultant/developer) I've once paid someone on vworker $5 USD for 2 days work (workers from India, and they did an amazing job) ....on the other hand In the UK, the average contract rate I've seen is £40-60/hour GBP, ($60-$90 USD) although I've seen well over double that on occasions.

You can find a mixture of rates, depends what you're after, and where you're looking, and how long you want to look for etc... Are you looking for services, or are you providing services?

My friend asks about this and she doesn't tell me what specific job. That is why I am asking about the average per hour of work. I guess the work is in line with SEO. I am located here in the Philippines. She (my friend) is providing services. I, too, would like to know the per hour rate. :)

Depends on what you do and how professional you are as SEO, could be something between $30 - $60 per hour.

    Cheers!

It is a lot easier to sum up when I am not working. I've been in the industry since 1998 and even when I am not actually in front of my computer working on a site I am probably mulling ideas over in my head for one.

A good SEO could earn about $40/hour. A web developer maybe $80/hour. Again depends on what you are skilled at

Though its nice to charge a rate you can make money off of it always seems there someone else willing to do it cheaper so i guess you have to keep a base rate but also listen to the client and what they aren't saying about the other person who promises to always do it "faster and cheaper"

Minimum wage here in Vancouver is $8.50 an hour. If you are making less than this with web work, it's time to call it quits. In my case, I won't get out of bed in the morning for anything less than $20.00 an hour. Even that is stretching it, it's way to expensive to live here, honestly. I can imagine that if you lived in India, getting out of bed for $2.00 would be worth it. If you are an Indian web developer, I bet $15.00 would be an amazing wage in that country. It all depends on the geographical location you call home! I hope that's what you mean.

I think it all depends on the area you work in. Guys in big Cities can charge quite a bit more than guys in smaller towns. Im noticing a trend where the clients from the city tend to make use of Marketer in smaller towns as they are cheaper.

If you work for freelancing companies your goal should be something around say $10 per hour.

I am a freelance writer. My goal is set at $13.69 per hour. I figured this amount out by trying to match what I was making at my real job. If I can make this I can make $22,000 a year...I know its not much but thats what I was making working for someone else. Now I can do it for myself. And still enjoy life.

Go to Odesk.com and see what other people in the Phillipines are quoting as their rate for SEO work. This will give you a good idea.

You could go to Odesk and check. But, you might be better off checking the BST section if your looking to compete on here. If your going to compete on Odesk then you can check there for your competition rates. Just my thought.

    hello,
You do not specify which king of working talking about ? There is much diffrence between a labour & a professional . Both have there different criteria base compensation . A labour can earn 5- 20 $ per hour ,while a profesional can earn many more depend to his skill .
