Avoiding Ads About Blogs?

    is there anything I can put in my templat code for Adsense to ignore anything associated with blogs? this seems to be what 90% of the ads on my blog are about, and my blog isn't even about blogs, it's about music... so I hope to soon at least get some ads somewhat relating to my topic, and get more than fifty cents per one thousand visitors.

    I don't know... some ignore tags, maybe? I don't want to take out any code in fear of ruining something, so what do you suggest I do?

    You could always go in to the Content Ads tab and weed out the offending links under "Competitive Ad Filter."

    Remove the word blog from every post.
    If that doesn't work so go to the filter and you gonna spend a few hours blocking all the blog related ads there is out there :/
