i had just found a way to get guaranteed traffic from digg even if your submission really stank. We know that most guys are visual creatures right?
well if you insert the characters [pic] in the title you will get alot of traffic. escpecially if you list the submission in the technology section. there are tons of people looking in the upcoming for pictures.

Yeah, great idea. what's the difference in that and link baiting?

If you can't generate legit traffic from digg with your current content with ignorantly lying, it's your content that needs the trick, not digg.

If people spent a third of the time working on their site and content as they do finding ways to get around shit they'd be rich

This is true I have a tendency to click links that have a [PIC] in the headline.

    Well spotted..

You should have written a 43 page eBook about it and sold for the obligatory $7 ! :)

Thanks again. ( Dont utilise Digg enough for marketing , but need to start!)

Well said. I totally agree with you. In the end there are no shortcuts or tricks, it's all about creating original content that people are interested in. You can link bait people and when they see you're just putting on a front, they're not going to visit your site again. For me, I want repeat visitors, not people who visit once for a few seconds and then hit the back button.

    Hi All,

There is a question over here-

How to get targeted traffic from the social bookmarking sites and also explain some useful social bookmarking and networking sites?

Yeah, I'd like to see some. I am a Digg user as well and I can tell you that it works only if the pic is of high value and interesting. The (pic) at the end of the headline won't help you at all.

This will probably work quite well.

Unless you are really linking to a pic though itll probably do you more harm than good.
