    Just wanna say "Hi" to everyone!

    It's my first post after 13 years!

    Is DP still as active as before? Can we still earn here?

    All forums have taken a dive, lots of discussions on messaging tools like Discord, or in groups on Facebook and LinkedIn. There's still a solid core of members here but it's nowhere as busy.

    I see. At least, DP is still around. I actually thought they shut it down. But when I tried logging in using my saved password on chrome, it went through. Kind of nostalgic, actually. This is where I started my freelance career back in '08.

    A few years of posting "Articles for sale" here, I found a permanent client, whom I still work for to this day.
    This is where I started writing tech articles and got my first paycheck.
    I can still remember how busy DP was back in the day.

    Forums got whitewashed over the last few decades, mainly because of Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Discord and Reddit growing in popularity. But nothing beats a good forum thread. :cool:

    There's forums I joined in 2006 or whatever, that I only just started posting on in recent years due to most gaming forums I go on being so very, well dead. I think some members assumed I was new.

    But with how forums are gonna likely stay dead, and with how this one particular guy I know keeps on being a tosser, I don't have much interest in them any longer. It's also very quiet on most forums these days, so you just have to ask yourself if it's worth contributing.
