Background Images Next To Ads?

    Hi,

    I just wanted to know if this is Adsense Safe. (Link Below)

    Is it ok that there is a background image of two cartoon characters next to the ad, even though that the background is for the whole page.

    Im not sure, I think your not allowed to have images next to ads, but your best of contacing the google adsense team for confirmation.

    As long as you don't attempt to make it look like adverts are primary content, (ie placing 4 images alongside a 4-link vertical banner), you're fine.

    I think the pop up windows that appears on top of the ad unit which you have to click "close" could pose more issues rather than the cartoon images. I could be interpreted as trying to confuse visitors to click on the ads.

    That's a very good point, that popup did not show when I visited previously.
