Bad way to start the day...

    I drink coffee....from the time I wake up in the morning to the time I finally go to sleep.
    And what is the worst thing to happen to a coffee drinker?
    In the morning?
    Yep!
    The coffee maker decided that this morning, it would not work!
    My wife, god bless her soul, is up and about before I am (since I retired, I am making up for all those mornings I had to get out of bed early) and when she turned the coffee maker on and it did not work, she went up the street to the convenience store and got me not one but two of the biggest cups of coffee just for me.
    Of course, no coffee maker, meant a trip to the next city to get a new one.
    To get to the store there, and to get back home from the store, takes us right by the boat (casino).
    So bought the coffee maker and stopped to burn up some more cash.
    After about 8 hours there, we made more than enough to pay for the coffee maker and a years supply of coffee.

    I lost big time!
    My wife won big time!

    Coffee drinkers like me do not take the loss of a coffee maker as inconvenient...LOL

    But not as bad as one of our grandsons who is autistic.
    God help the people around him if his watch quits working!
    Been there, done that...twice with him!

    Why I have a dog...she jumps on me every morning until I give her a morning snack (she is spoiled rotten).

    Coffee is good for you...never quit drinking it.
    Made a deal with a doctor a few years back...to cut back on my caffiene intake, I quit drinking so much ice tea.
    And switched to half decaf.
