Banner ad rotation software with geotargetting apart from phpadsnew?

Are there any other banner rotation scripts out there which are as good as/better than php ads new? Must have geotargetting. Looking for something low cost or free.

I found this one which claims to be 5x faster than phpadsnew. What do you think?

    Thanks.

Speed seems to be the only advantage and the sites I use phpAdsNew on don't seem to be suffering from any speed problems. Why pay?

I use the delivery options in phpAdsNew extensively. I wonder if they are as fully configured as phpAdsNew? It seems they are being added piecemeal.

Given the effort involved in trialling this kind of software I don't think 7 days free is enough.

Im curious your reasoning for not using phpAdsNew...Is it just speed?

I have been using it for a really long time and never had a single issue.

Yes, it's speed that worries me. The adpeeps.com site says their script is 5 times faster and less resource intensive than phpadsnews.

Has phpadsnew been slow and resource-hungry in your experience?

It hasn't which is why I question the 5 times things.

If you can somehow compare the two yourself and give an analysis, It would be really useful. I just doubt anything could be 5 times faster

Five times faster at what too?

I manage most of my ads from an instance of phpmyads on one server and serve ads via javascript code to the other sites. I'd imagine that the time saved in script execution would be negligable compared to the browser fetching and then executing the javascript code.

Take a look at PropertyTalk and Raincheck.

    Both sites use Mambo CMS
    Both sites use phpAdsNew
    PropertyTalk uses local ads
Raincheck uses remote ads with servers on opposite sides of the world.

If either of these sites has performance problems it's the content causing it.

I'm cutting over another site this weekend and there are no performance issues. The ads start showing before the page has finished loading.

    Thanks for that.

Visited the sites and I'm afraid to tell you they were extremely slow when I moved from page to page. Had a five second gap which I don't see that often now that I have a 2Mb connection.

However, as you say it could be because of other things rather than phpAdsNew.

I really liked the sites, PropertyTalk especially, btw.

Anybody else had experience of phpAdsNew speed compared to other banner ad scripts?

We recently tried Ad Peeps and PhpAdsnews on our site.

I am not even going to lie, Ad Peeps was a much better product even though it wasn't free. The software was so SMALL but powerful compared to PHPAdsnew which is MB's and for what? they do pretty much same thing

One problem I had was that the guy who made this software is sometimes busy to answer my small questions and phpadsnew has a better forum where members can help each other.

We did eventually purchase and got them to extend their 7 day by a few extra days but i would say it;s worth the price.

Also some sites we use it on is www.marqi.com

Has anyone tried AdServer Solutions and their Ad/Banner management scripts or their affiliate scripts?

    How do they compare up?

Obviously free or cheap is great but i love to have first hand experiences to figure out which is the better option since i cant install their stuff on my server to demo it.

    thanks for any feedback!
