Banners over Ads

I know everyone is using the four little images over their text banners, but has anyone got any considerable success from placing a AS text banner under an Image banner like so....

I don't really want to put the four images, because for now my ads aren't always targeted (Eventually I'll work it out so they are, but for now...yep). So I tried out one right below the banner.

    Any thoughts?

I think it should provide a relatively high CTR - it's not obvious they're adverts until you hit the third one and just spot the 'Ads by Google'.

However, you could place 2 large rectangles next to each other beneath that leaderboard and increase your CTR 2-fold, but then ethics come in to play and it's down to you. I'm currently using this method until I'm earning a reasonable ammount, and then I'll drop the 2 rectangles and just keep the leaderboard, then promote my E-Zine more incase I lose rankings, I've still got plenty of people to pimp stuff to - even if it's just pointing them to new articles with AdSense on them. It's my safe-guard against the SERPS paranoia that's increasing as I rise up the ranks.
