My wife's eyes are really infected...thanks possibly to the ReNu solution we use for our contacts.

I have daily disposables so I don't use it much. But she has monthlys and her eyes are a mess. They've been infected for the last few weeks. We couldn't figure out why this happened all of the sudden. But this might explain it-

This really sucks because I bought ten bottles of this crap last month!

Similar eye infection cases is being investigated in Singapore and the suspect is also Bausch & Lomb. Although the ministry of health haven't come to their conclusion, B&L have pulled all their product and gave customers refunds.

Yeah, she's got another apointment today. Hopefully it was the ReNu solution that was causing the problem.

That sucks, man. If it is what your wife has, apparently it can be treated with special eye drops.

Bausch & Lomb did not handle the whole thing well. Even though the CDC announced it was a probable cause of the infection on Monday, they didn't ask stores to remove it from shelves until Thursday. And they asked them to remove it only temporarily.

Plus, infections have been happening with Moisturloc product in Singapore since last November! They suspended sales of the product in Singapore way back in February 2006.

I'm never buying another B&L product again. Their stock is taking a beating, down 32% recently. Class-Action might be a real possibility.
